West Point Grey is a neighborhood in the northwest side of the City Vancouver. There are many attractions nearby at walking distance, such as recreational activities in parks, shopping centers, restaurants, coffee shops and many more facilities. This quiet neighborhood is home for over 13.000 residents and it’s bordered by a lot of great educational institutions. It is a residential area and also a great home for any single family or retired families that would like to live in an exquisite, luxurious and quiet neighborhood.

Vancouver itself is a really expensive area, being actually inside of the most expensive cities to live in Canada. The houses are the most popular types of buildings in the area, as well as townhouses. There are also a few apartments and condos for sale, for those that don’t want to spend a fortune for a house. Houses with big property lots, high ceilings, modern and luxurious furniture and at least 2 or 3 baths are pretty common. Currently there are about 85 homes for sale on the MLS listings in West Point Grey, many of them being waterfront homes.

Besides the extra services you get, the quality of the materials and the furniture is really good for condos. The price will be a bit higher for those with quality materials, but you will still get a good price for a well equipped condo. Going through the MLS listings for condos, you will find a lot of them having a hardwood floor or even bamboo flooring for some of the top condos. Kitchens come with top appliances, including electric oven, dishwasher machine and lots of smart appliances. Most of the condos you will find also offer a parking lot or a garage, where you can park your car and the area usually has video surveillance.

West Point Grey condominiums average prices

Even if condos are a great alternative for apartments, were still talking about Vancouver, which is an expensive city. Overall the real estate market kept its prices pretty high over the last years. Still, there are a few condos listed for sale with great prices. The average price for apartments was kept over the last years at around $600.000 for the most standard ones. Looking at the more luxurious and bigger ones, the prices are going up to around $1 million. Condos can be found too at $600.000 the most basic ones and go up to even $1.5 million for some of the most luxurious ones.

I found a condo in the MLS listings at the price of $528.000 featuring a total surface area of 595 sq ft, one bedroom and one bathroom. This is probably one of the cheapest and basic ones, but still it’s a great price for a condo in West Point Grey neighborhood. On the other side, a luxurious condo can be found at $1.2 million. This one features top furniture and appliances, modern design, 1371 sq ft, 2 baths and 2 bedrooms. At this price, you can also find detached condos, where you don’t actually share any walls with your neighbors, only the common spaces. This is the great part about condos, why would you spend $1 million on one apartment, where you still hear the noise from the neighbors, when you can spend a bit more for your own home unit and get some extra cool features too.
