Bordered by Williams Road to the north, the Fraser River to the south, No 2 Road to the east, and the Strait of Georgia to the west, it consists of four distinct neighbourhoods: Steveston Village, Steveston North, Westwind and Steveston South.

Steveston Village

The Steveston Community Park is a 30-acre hub of activity that stands out in the community. It boasts a unique and expansive playground and waterpark, making it a popular destination for families. The park also houses the Steveston Community Centre, which offers a fitness centre and courts for indoor tennis, squash and racquetball. A remarkable feat of architecture, the Martial Arts Centre, is the first purpose-built Japanese dojo to be constructed outside of Japan. In recent years, the closure of the fish canneries has led to a significant amount of residential development, including the construction of several deluxe condominiums and townhomes.

Residents of Steveston come together in a display of community spirit every Canada Day on July 1st to celebrate the nation’s birthday. At the event, guests can enjoy a parade, Japanese Cultural Show, Children’s Festival and more.
