The Last Straw isn't just a specialty publication; it's the voice of an international community. All annual Subscribers to The Last Straw receive a four issue subscription to The Last Straw Journal. An annual Subscription is $32/year in the USA and Canada; $36/year for addresses outside USA and Canada.

SPONSORSHIP

Members of the TLS community may choose to provide additional support by becoming Sponsors. All of the Sponsors are listed in TLS Journal for one year, unless they opt for anonymity. The Sponsors' names and general locations are also listed here on the website.

A Two-String Bale sponsorship is $20 per year; a Three-String Bale sponsorship is $30 per year; a Load-Bearing sponsorship is $50 per year; and a Community Builder sponsorship is $100 or more per year. These sponsorships are tax-deductible; let us know if you need a receipt.



HUMAN RESOURCES LIST

TLS Journal publishes a Human Resource List in the annual Resources Guide, as well as here on the website. This list is comprised of people who support The Last Straw by paying a fee to be included as a Human Resource. The listings include descriptions of goods and services offered and contact info. (TLS Subscribers receive The Last Straw Journal, an indication that they're staying abreast of the most current information available—something potential clients consider a good thing.) If you're looking for a straw-bale materials supplier, builder, designer, consultant, architect, engineer, or other assistance, this is the most complete list anywhere.

At the bottom of each page of our web site, there is a chunk of hidden code that serves up a random blurb about one of our
Web Ads. Your blurb can have the same content as your Human Resource Listing and it can link directly to your website or email address. Unlike some banner ads which keep changing, your blurb stays right there on the page until the user surfs on.
